Stevens County is a county located in the U.S. state of Washington. As of July 2016, the population was estimated to be 44,439. The county seat and largest city is Colville.

The county was created in 1863 and named after Isaac Stevens, the first governor of Washington Territory.
Geography[]
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 2,541 square miles (6,580 km2), of which 2,478 square miles (6,420 km2) is land and 63 square miles (160 km2) (2.5%) is water.
