Mountain View is an unincorporated community in Whatcom County, Washington. It is home to the Lake Terrell State Game and Refuge and a handful of oil refineries along Cherry Point.

Ferndale is located a few miles east. The Puget Sound is to the west. Birch Bay and Custer are to the north. Neptune Beach and Sandy Point are south.

The elevation is 213 feet above sea level and the coordinates are a latitude of 48.848 and a longitude of -122.671.

Climate[]

Mountain View experiences a mild climate, with no average monthly temperatures above 71.6 °F (22.0 °C). Mountain View is in an area that is colder and wetter overall than much of Whatcom County, and has more extreme weather.
