Emden is an area in Adams County, Washington. It is most prominent along the railroad tracks.

History[]

The site was named in honor of Fred J. Emden, Sr (1880 - July 2, 1953).

Geography[]

The community is located on a rather isolated stretch of Old Military Road which can flood at certain times of the year as low lying areas become ponds of water.

Towards the south is Teske. Paxton is to the southeast. Palm Lake and Sprague are northeast and Tokio is northwest. Keystone is directly north.
