Baring is a census-designated place (CDP) in King County, Washington. The population was 220 at the 2010 census. It is located on U.S. Highway 2 about 22 miles west of Stevens Pass

Baring has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.6 km²), of which, 1.7 square miles (4.4 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (5.62%) is water. The town straddles the Skykomish River.

- The town is located along a very flat and straight three-mile section of highway that's been dubbed the Baring Straight since U.S. 2 is otherwise hilly and curvy through the mountains.
