Adco is an unincorporated community in Grant CountyWashington.

Geography[]

Soap Lake is about 7 miles west of Adco. Less than a mile west is Adrian. Stratford is less the four miles to the east. North is Bacon and south is Moses Lake.

History[]

The name was made by members of the Northern Pacific Railway Company in 1910. When the rail line was completed between the towns of Adrian and Connell, the railway officials used the first to letters of each town name to come up with Adco.

There are a few residences today as well as the headquarters to the Quincy-Columbia Basin Irrigation District.
